Polonium in Hamburg

Hamburg is close...it's where I live...Ottensen is even closer...it's my part of the town...so far it was cool, trendy, active and ... yes, almost quiet. But now Since I came back on Friday night it has changed.
That evening I came around the corner and was suddenly confronted with dozens of police car. I counted at least 20 and they were everywhere. First I thought the old punks of this area had risen again and fight the evil police forces for good. But nothing was going on...it was deadly silent.

Eventually I asked one of the police guys. The answer was surprising, fascinating, shocking and to me somehow unreal at the same time. A guy who is somehow in contact with Alexander Litwinenko lived here and they found evidence of Polonium in the flat of his ex-wife.

Wow, how come that she happens to live just 300 metres away from me?

I don't know too much, yet. But this area has changed a bit. Constantly streets are blocked by police cars and the air traffic with helicopter has increased dramatically... I live close to a prime spot! It gives you a funny feeling if you know that Russian spies walked or still walk around in your neighbourhood with polonium in their pockets or blood...
